Introduction to Control Your Money
Control Your Money is an educational resource for pupils aged 11 to 15. It is an interactive narrative in which your pupils, using their own financial capability and maths skills, help characters overcome and reflect on challenges within a real life context. The teaching material consists of four challenges for two separate age groups, relating to everyday situations. In Control Your Money, your pupils aged 11-12 years will learn how to apply maths in everyday life through the use of, for instance, percentage calculation in regards to expenses, income and price comparison. The financial literacy objectives for this age group, among other things, deal with planning, buying and earnings.
The website has been developed in collaboration with local leading educational experts and teachers. The material is non-commercial and free for everyone to enjoy!
